    The Germany Fund

    On 18 December, the Germany Fund ("Deutschlandfonds") was presented at a press conference in Berlin by the Federal Minister of Finance, Lars Klingbeil; the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Katherina Reiche; and Stefan Wintels, the Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors and the Supervisory Board of KfW Capital. This includes the venture capital pillar.

    2025: The Year in Retrospect

    Despite facing challenges, the German venture capital ecosystem remained stable in 2025, supported by high-quality start-ups and VC funds. KfW Capital played a key role in driving forward the ecosystem through VC academies and an ESG training programme.

    The year 2023 in numbers

    In 2023, KfW Capital was a reliable partner of the VC ecosystem and was able to provide more support for start-ups and innovative technology companies in a challenging environment.

    Final Closing "Wachstumsfonds Deutschland"

    The Wachstumsfonds Deutschland has slightly surpassed its EUR 1 billion target volume, making it one of the largest funds of funds in Europe and thus strengthening the VC ecosystem sustainably.
