    Emerging Manager Facility

    • KfW Capital invests in smaller private funds managed by women or gender-diverse teams.
    • KfW Capital invests in emerging manager VC funds only after successful completion of a standard market due diligence (DD) process under the same terms and conditions as private fund investors.

    • The target funds must meet at least one of the following three criteria:
      • The management team consists of at least one-third female and/or non-binary individuals, or
      • The senior investment team consists of at least 40% female and/or non-binary individuals, or
      • The investment committee, as the body f the fund that decides on its investments/investment activities, is composed of at least 40% female and/or non-binary individuals.
    • The target funds have a maximum size of EUR 50 million fund volume.
    • The target funds have their fund domicile in Europe.
    • The target funds invest at least the amount of our commitments into young, innovative technology-oriented growth companies based in Germany.
